Valpak Consulting has considerable experience in
the research, consultation and development of mechanisms required
for the implementation of Producer Responsibility legislation.
Valpak was a leading contributor in the development of the UK's first
Producer Responsibility mechanism, for packaging and packaging waste. More recently, Valpak Consulting was commissioned
to establish and recommend a Producer Responsibility system for agricultural waste
plastics including: the running of a number of practical trials; development of
an indicative cost model; and LCA of different collection options.
The consultancy team also provide a considerable amount of internal
company support on Producer Responsibility, recently in the fields of waste electronics and batteries legislation.
