From cardboard to catwalk!

recycle-more, Valpak's recycling information website, has been helping students at Welford-on-Avon School make the most of their rubbish. The Year 3 class members have been working hard on their outfits for a Recycled Fashion show which took place today. Representatives from recycle-more.co.uk were on hand to present awards to the most innovative designers; the winner was Moreton Ward and the runners up were Katie Griffiths and Alice Finley.

recycle-more's Web Manager Sam Blades said 'competitions like this are a great way to introduce the idea of recycling at an early age. The creativity of these students proves that the next generation have all the ingenuity we need to continue to tackle issues surrounding the environment and sustainability in the future'.

recycle-more.co.uk has a dedicated schools section for both pupils and teachers keen to learn more about the environment. With key stage activities, rubbish facts and recycling games there is something for everyone!

Sam and the recycle-more team will be attending the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show on the 19-24 February 2008 at the NEC. Visit them in the caravan hall at stand 5227 for a chat, some more information and the chance to win some great prizes.
