Joining Valpak's battery pre compliance scheme provides members with access to a variety of services to help them prepare for their obligations to finance meeting the challenging collection targets under the EU Directive. The service enables members to stay up-to-date with UK legislative developments and have their say.
Benefits of Valpak's service include:
- regular information updates via a bulletin email service
- opportunity to input to Valpak responses to government stakeholder papers and consultations
- input to the design of any potential Valpak batteries compliance offering
- free attendance at member meetings and seminars
- access to a battery member's area of the website which will provide:
- access to reports from stakeholder meetings
- access to consultation documents
- access to Valpak responses
- expected legislative timeline
- access to presentations from guest speakers at member events
This service will operate until 30 September 2008 for a fee of £500.
Valpak members are entitled to a discounted rate of £400. You will need to log into the website using your membership key, login ID and password before completing the application form in order to access the discount.
